Decorative white, ball shaped globes with a difference! These energy efficient globolux shape bulbs are interchangeable with ordinary incandescent versions, that are commonly used in pendant fittings and lamps. They do have two important differences though. One is that they use far less power (about one fifth of an incandescent) and the other is that they last much longer (up to ten times as long), which means less trips to the hardware or lighting store and less changes. Dollar for dollar, these bulbs are a much better choice!
Currently available in 20 watt (equivalent to 100 watt regular version), warm white (for lounge and relaxation areas), E27 (Edison Screw) base, 100mm diameter ball 5000 hours and 20 watt (equivalent to 100 watt regular version), warm white (for lounge and relaxation areas), E27 (Edison Screw) base and 95mm diameter ball, 10,000 hours B22 (bayonet).
Huge 80% power savings.
Only uses 25 watts but has equivalent light output of a standard 125 watt globe.
Long life - 8,000 hours.
5000K Daylight colour only.
Edison screw (E27) base only.
Limited stocks available.
These globes are awesome! Replaces any incandescent bulb, but best used in closed fittings ('cause they're quite ugly). Because they put out less heat than incandescents, these globes can be used to provide more light in enclosed fittings, where a 60 watt globe is the maximum recommended (most enclosed household fittings). Add to that the 10,000 hour life (10 times that of a normal bulb) and the fact you can save up to 80% off your power bill (good for the environment) and there is no good reason not to change. Available in cool white (lounge and relaxation areas) or daylight (kitchens and work areas). Available in 10 watt (= to 50 watt standard globe), 15 watt (= to 75 watt standard globe) and 18 watt (= to 90 watt standard globe). Edison Screw (E27) and Bayonet Cap (B22). |
