Hi Derek
Thank you for your enquiry
The simple answer is – Not really
The nature of the halogen globe is a that it produces a warm light as it is an incandescent light
The only true way of getting 5000K is with a standard linear fluorescent tube, compact fluorescent (CFL) globe or a discharge lamps (like metal halide). Obviously neither of these options will fit into a fitting designed for a linear halogen globe but if you are taking photos (which it sounds like you are) then these are the best options
Nelson Lamps do offer a cool linear halogen globe which is available at Bunnings but it is only a blue cover and it is not all that effective
Should you require any further info please dont hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards
Daniel
