LED technology for lighting applications is coming of age and has many advantages over conventional incandescent and fluorescent lighting. This Z LED lighting unit is probably the most powerful LED light source available today in a standard MR16 halogen type format for the price. Perfect halogen downlight replacement where you want discreet lighting.

This LED bulb uses a CHT LED emitter, producing more than 26 lumens (18 lumens for the warm white colour LED bulb). CHT LED light sources are the highest flux LEDs in the world delivering the brightest solid state LED lighting solutions available.

This bulb is specified for AC or DC 12V operation and can therefore be used in existing low voltage halogen lighting systems if required. For optimum performance we recommend one of our range of DC power sources which have been especially designed for LED lighting technology. Using our DC power source guarantees optimum light output and flicker free operation.

This bulb consumes approx 2W of power and has a very narrow beam angle in the order of 25-30 degrees. It's available in Cool white, Warm White, Red and Amber. The bulb front is sealed.

Important Note: Due to the low power consumption these LED lamps may not operate on some electonic transformers. We recommend that these operated on wire wound magnetic transformers only!
